I saw the movie then i had to see it again, then i went on line, i agree with all of you (not with gugu but funny!!) it is so sad; and no some people do not have the need to move forward when they feel they are there; metal illness is difficult to accept and treat even for those in the profession; this movie was intense for me.

There are two versions of the centerfold floating around the net, not sure why one is with cigarette and one without. For the purpose of image quality I chose with the image above which compared to the other choices, had the best resolution and least pixelation.

Why is this picture altered from the original photo shot which show him with his jaunting cigarette giving him a devil-may-care pose. Without that look, this picure is insipid. If one is going to make the centerfold politically correct, put some shorts on the guy…or at least a thong.

James Franco is really hot when wear hi tights during the introductory with Anne Hathaway. James Franco is really a great actor and I’m glad that I was not disappointed by the book that I read at http://biography.co/james-franco. I was shocked to learn that this hunk did work at McDonald’s!

I toyally agree. The incest was disturbing at a very deep level(revolting perhaps). The acting superb to evoke such a reaction. The gruesome story, well directed.The cold politeness of the rich & well acquainted is still prevalent in our society today. One is disarmed by the lack of true empathy.

I just saw the movie and for the first time I had to see if this was true and I do believe that this sort of disfunction(incest) and the dad choosing to ignore deep rooted issues is more prevelant with the rich simply because when you have so much and can do anything you want there is a lack of caring. I believe since Barbara could not have her husband she chose the next closest person to him genetically(Anthony)
and in her own demons felt the relationship with her son was normal. I had this sort of thing happen in my family and it will rip apart any family values one might have. Julianne Moore was excellent and I always love her acting.

I’ve just seen the movie too so I wanted to check if the story was real and, indeed, it is. And such a sad one… But somehow it makes you realise the limits of richness, when you have absolutely everything, i guess you go mad.
And well, the film was just great. I can’t believe Julianne Moore hasn’t got an Oscar for it. Actually, i can’t believe she hasn’t got an Oscar at all…It’s not fair that overrated actors/actresses like(let’s face it)Angelina Jolie have got an Oscar and Moore doesn’t. Just too strange.
